Frequently asked questions

How does the 30-day free trial work?

Sign up without a credit card. You get full access to Cloud Solo features (4 routes, 200 Mbps, failover, SRTLA bonding) for 30 days. At the end of the trial, subscribe to keep your routes running. If you don't subscribe, your account is suspended (read-only) and your config is preserved for 7 days before being purged.

What's the difference between Cloud Indie and Cloud Solo?

Cloud Solo adds multi-input failover and SRTLA bonding on top of the Indie tier. If your stream is live-critical (you need redundancy between two ISPs, or you contribute over cellular), Solo is the right tier. Indie is for non-critical or one-off streams.

When do I need Cloud Pro?

Cloud Pro is for production setups that need hardware transcoding (Intel QSV) — typically when you ingest 1080p60 H.265 and need to output an H.264 ladder. It also bumps you to 8 routes and 500 Mbps. If you're routing without transcoding, Solo or Indie is enough.

Is the bandwidth really unmetered?

On all regions except Asia and Australia, yes. Those two regions include 10 TB and bill the excess at standard egress rates — published on request. Most Indie/Solo/Pro customers never approach the cap.

Can I change plans mid-cycle?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Manage everything from the Stripe Customer Portal — link in your billing emails.

How do I cancel?

Through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No questions, no retention call.

Do you offer on-premise / self-hosted licenses?

Yes — for native NDI output, ST 2110, or full infrastructure control. Self-hosted is contract-based, not in the cloud pricing above. Contact us to discuss.

What currency is billing in?

USD. Stripe handles currency conversion automatically for cards billed in other currencies — your bank applies its standard FX rate. EUR pricing on request for enterprise customers.
